Freeway Community Care

Freeway Community Care is about helping those in need and less fortunate in our community. Jesus taught and demonstrated the importance of caring for and being generous to others. By following his example we believe we are demonstrating what Jesus is like to our community. Some of the initiatives we currently do include:

- The ‘Bread Basket’ ministry supplies a weeks groceries to 60 families every week. Food is sourced from Perth providers and stored at the Freeway Church ‘food bank’ where it is distributed to families in need every Wednesday. Through the Bread Basket food is also supplied to other great community initiatives such as the Salvation Army Services and Kwinana Home Support Services. Our tireless team of volunteers have worked faithfully in the ‘Bread Basket’ ministry for many years. If you would like to know more about this vital ministry or how you can volunteer, contact the church office on 9411 4111.

- Every month we take up an offering for “Kwinana Home Support Services”. This vital community service looks after the elderly of our community through meal delivery, transportation and general care. ‘Kwinana Home Support Services” have acknowledged that they may not have been able to exist as an organisation if it wasn’t for the ongoing support of Freeway Church.
